"Jaffa around the Clock"
Near the apartment is the colorful flea market (hustles and bustles from Sunday to Friday, till late afternoon).
A short walk will take you near the old Turkish clock-tower and to Old Jaffa, where archeological sites, art galleries, restaurants and cafes encircle the lawns of the Summit Park. In this park, which gives a nice panoramic view to the coast line, you may be lucky to find an open-air, free entrance concert.
Another walk will take you from the old Turkish clock-tower to the port of Jaffa which attracts visitors on Saturdays, and to the picturesque Tel-Aviv promenade, stretching along the sea-side all the way to the north Tel-Aviv, near bathing shores, recreation areas and much of Tel-Aviv night life.
You can find near the apartment many parks and gardens, synagogues, mosques and churches, sport facilities, bathing shores, museums and shops. You are invited to join, for a small fee, the guided tours given by the city of Tel-Aviv-Jaffa, the Society for the Protection the Nature in Israel, and others.

Jaffa is an assemblage of cultures, and offers an array of taste and price ranges, from the Balkan restaurants of 'Jaffa's Bulgarians' ("Monka", "Balkan Restaurant"), through the fish restaurants of the world's most ancient port-city ("Manta Ray", "Margaret Tayar"), North African ("Guetta"), wine ("Yo'ezer Wine Bar"), bistro ("Noa"), and to the folk cooking – Humus canteens on every corner, 'Shakshuka' in pita bread (Have we mentioned "Abulafia"?).
Transportation
No buses cross the quite street by the apartment; however, in 2 minutes walk you will find a dozen of local buses lines and some inter-city lines. These buses provide prompt transportation in Tel Aviv and to the near cities. You can find a taxi in the near Jerusalem Boulevard or call for one. If you drive your own car, you will find a free-of-charge parking place near the apartment.
But you may find no need for Transportation – the popular sites are only several minutes walk:
